"Today I mountain biked the most vert ever in the shortest amount of time. I felt like I could've kept going for so much longer. In the past, my legs burned too much to continue. But since I've been eating more before, eating and drinking during, and eating immediately after exercise, I've felt like a new person. I was able to change up my post-activity splurge. When I got home, I did not feel like I needed to take my famished self directly to the (restaurant) for two big burgers and a bathtub full of fries. I just had roast chicken, a heap of rice, greens, and a brownie. This is only a hypothesis, but I bet that great meal supported solid sleep and recovery - I felt amazing today and ready to get out for more activity!

I earned my Master's in Public Health and Nutrition from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and founder of Flow State Nutrition. I am based in Victor, ID, but I work with clients all over the country.
My mission is to dispel nutrition myths and improver my client's relationship with food and their bodies. You will not find the word "diet" in my vocabulary! Instead, I specialize in intuitive eating and promotes an "all foods fit" approach. Additionally, I work with active people, focusing on performance nutrition. As a trail runner, mountain biker, and backcountry skier, I understand the unique demands of the mountains. My goal is to teach her clients what, when, and how to eat through evidence-based nutrition and realistic lifestyle adjustments.
